Walking towards the Harvard Yard MBTA station, I saw Michael’s sign and enjoyed it enough to give him my spare change. I then asked him if I could make a portrait and he said he would be agreeable for a fee of one hundred dollars. He said this with a toothy smile and I assumed he was joking until he told me he was serious. I gave him my name with a handshake and asked him his name. I told him I hoped he had a good day and made to leave but he told me that I was nice and had given him some change already so I could make a quick portrait.
